About

Olha Lesiv

I come from Kolomyia, Ukraine — a city with a special connection to the art of Ukrainian pysanky.

It was there, at the Museum of Pysanka Painting, that my creative journey began. Since 2012 I have been writing pysanky with eggshells, beeswax and dyes, combining ancient symbols with my own interpretation.

Moving to Prince Edward Island opened a new chapter. Far from my homeland, I appreciate my heritage even more deeply — and today I lead workshops that share the story of Ukraine through its symbols.
